If you have a family (mom and son12) , family (2 married adutls and 3 kids) and (2young adults - engaged) . How do you divide your living space ? Do you offer one room per family ? This is kind of weird to me because mom and son will be sleeping in same bed ? I only have one bed to give the young couple engaged / they will be married anyway ) do i just ask them if they would like to sleep together ? If not , then I can rent a bed or something.. the other family coming is a couple with three kids. i was planning to give them the family room with sectionals couches / ez boy recliner . there is more space there ? Or do you just ask girls to group in one room and guys in another ? Please advise what is appropriate / the best way to handle sleeping accomodations when someone comes to visit ? The families don't know each other well, so i was originally thinking that it should be dividied by family / they would enjoy more privacy. each would have a priv bathrom. Not sure/ideas

I am going to get on of those really cool antiquey bath/shower mixer taps and was wondering what colour schemes to go for. I thought of getting gold ones of these as they are nice and warm. Do you think plae pink/cream tiles and paint? Gimme your ides too please. Its a small bathroom with a big window, quite light and i have a white suite and black slate effect floor. Have a budget of £400 £500 to include taps/tiles/paint/blind. My dad will be doing the tiling so dont have to pay for that at least!!

Thanks xx

I am looking for a wall mount for my saxophone. I have seen them for guitars, and you can still take them off the wall easily and play them, and not have to put a hole in them. Anyone know where I could get one for a sax?

I am a college student and just moved into a new apartment. However, my bedroom walls are just so white and even though i've moved all my stuff in my room, it still looks so bare. i have one big wall and another shorter one (where the head of my bed rests) that need something. I dont want to paint the walls and i've had the same tapestry on a wall of my different rooms for the past 3 years that i am so sick of. Anyone have any different ideas on how to spruce up my boring bedroom?

I have berber and it's miserable, traffic stains every week. My dachshund is also a digger and has easily dug 2 holes in different areas. Although when the dogs shed you can barely see it in the carpet.

I also have a rug in the living room that attracts dog hair and is almost possible to clean up.

What is the best type to buy next time? Something thick? What color disguises traffic dirt and dog hair?

I need help. I don't know what to do for my theme w/ white and purple. My bedding will be light purple with white pillows and sheets, and maybe a white throw blanket, then some all different purples accent pillows.

What else can i add to my room that is purple or white? like some candles or something, maybe? I want a lot more of light purple that dark because i want it to look fresh, clean and bright. But a hint of dark purple would be nice.

If you have any ideas, even crafty ideas would be so great!!! Thanks!

i dont have enough money to re-carpet my floor. for my room my dad says that it would cost about $500. but we dont have enough spare money for that kind of thing (we're saving for disney.) but i hate my carpet! it has stains all over it that i cant get out. and its a girly periwinkle color. he said that i can re-paint it. but i cant paint it the color i want because the carpet wont work with it. i dont know what to do. my room is SO tiny as it is and i dont like it very much already. my parents have the biggest room (obviously) my older brother has the second biggest, my little brother has the third (i could have had it but it has green walls and red carpet) and my older sisters room is the same size as my little brother's. what is an alternative to recarpeting my room so i dont have to pay as much??? is there ANY ideas, anything that might help is appretiated, thanks!!!

valances. This is for my boyfriend's apt. What acent color can I use which is masculine and would brighten up his room. I decorated the kitchen and living room in a pallette of blues with a silver accent. His bathroom is Blue, Green and Turquoise with a Navy accent.

I wanted to leave the blue out of the bedroom and make the room romantic and passionate but masculine.

Thanks for your help with this

I am building a very basic two story home, downstairs having a family room den( computer room) kitchen with nook, walk in pantry, half bath and laundry. Upstairs i have split into two suites, each side have a large bedroom, ensuite and 9x10 walk in closet. End of the hall is a walk in linen closet 8x8. Very simple and basic. I like the greens yellows and browns, but have no idea what to do. I have gone to four " interior decorators" but all of them come up with something different. Just looking for some clues or ideas i suppose.. thanks
