Suggestion; put the mural on a backing such as Foam Board

It is available in most art and/or office supply stores.

Good Luck

You can paint your murial on the wallpaper - just don't glue it to the wall, but put a wooden, plastic or metal bar at the top and bottom of the wallpaper stripes, and a string on the top. Make several of them - to the size of your wall. You will be able to hang them one next to another and this way you can move them around any time you want.
You van even use leftovers of old wallpaper - you can get it for free on freecycle.org or craig list and paint on th eback of it. Or buy a cheapest one in the store.
It looks good, just don't make the string too long otherwise you'll have a big gap from the ceiling to the top of your banner

They make contact paper now that can be removed. I don't know if it would work but it should. Just make sure to use latex paint. It dries somewhat pliable.
