It's an old decrepid fence that is already falling down. It's really annoying. I've taken down part of it, but it doesn't seem to be very time effecient. Also what should I do with the old wood when I am done?

We live in an 80-year-old house with a fairly large bathroom. Our son was injured in an accident and is now quadriplegic. We need to modify the bathroom for rolling shower chair access. Since someone will be in the shower with him, the area needs to be about 5 feet by 5 feet.

My question is about how to manage the drain, what water barrier to put underneath, whether to use tile or a preformed base of some kind, and any other general tips you can provide from your experience. I have searched many websites and have seen many pictures of this type of shower. I am asking for first-hand knowledge about this. Is 5 x 5 reasonable?

Thanks for any info.

When you first enter into our house, you look right down a hallway and into our living room through an entry way. Basically, the first thing you see is this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v637/FaZizzle/Thehouse004.jpg

The question is, how should I accent that? I thinking of putting an accent wall up. We have taupe couches right now, and we're not 100% sure as to the rest of the colors yet.

Any ideas?

I was thinking of a brown or green, but I REALLY don't know.

I have a 24 year old home that I am selling due to divorce. It needs cosmetic things and new flooring and carpet. One agent suggested to sell as it and take a $20,000 drop in price. Would I recoup my initial investment and be able to ask a higher price? I have very limited monetary resources to work with and need to make the biggest bang for the buck

I'm planning on painting my kitchen cabinets tomorrow and I'm using this wood graining tool. You basically put a light coat of brown down, let it dry, and then put a dark coat on and use this tool and it makes it look like wood grains and knots.

If I have like a forest green color on my walls, should I go with lighter browns to do the cabinets? I know too many dark colors make the room seem small, but for resale value what do you suggest?

(I was planning on doing a light brown, and then a chocolate color to do the graining with)

My painter told me he underestimated how long prepping my deck would take and said that his workers spent half the day working on it. He asked if he could renegotiate the contract price to $500 more.

I've looked at many colors and I'm not sure what color is best. I thought browns, reds, coppers, golds, etc. My kitchen has this rusty orange color on the walls, a neutral floor, black marble countertops with bits of tan and orangy red. Any suggestions???

My furniture is a turquoise color and had bought red, green and blue. I have ran out of ideas to what to do with this room. I was gonna do red, white and blue but not anywmore.

I don't want my wall just to be one color either. Thats too plain for me.
My sheets look like this:http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f59/r2d2tppd2/sheets.jpg
My comforter is purple wth squares and circles.

How do I make my walls look as modern as my sheets and comforter? Or what else should I do?

My other room is jungle themed.
