I read somewhere that linen wallpaper cuts down on noise. Is this true?

Does anyone know where there are are interesting colors and/or patterns?

Anything that cuts down on the sound bouncing off the walls will quiet things down. I've seen people make in-home recording studios by hanging drapes on the walls. Just use Wallpaper in your search engine and spend the next year shopping. Many, many choices

If it's no thicker than ordinary wallpaper, how could it? 12 x 12" squares of cork would do better. Have you looked at WallpapersToGo site?
