I am buying a new home. I am concerned that all the moisture from the bathroom will cause mold or mildew in my closet because the closet doors are in bathroom. I ask the saleman if i could have it changed so i have one door from my bedroom entering my closet and he said " no it couldn't be done" ( i don't think he really checked) I am going to call the company myself to make sure. Does anyone have a floorplan like this, or do you think this will be a mold issue? Thanks for all replys.

All my friends have brand new houses. I bought a house that was preowned. Well, our kitchen and bathrooms are having all white tiles whereas all the friends have trendy new colors in their kitchen and bathrooms and they did it as per their color choice The paint in the bathroom is the usual beige. Everyone comments that my bathroom looks very sterile and they fear using it because it is white and worry where they will dirty it. Some comment that white looks and feels like a hospital. I am feeling very low and insecure about this aspect. Please do give me your opinion..... Thank you .

I have looked around the web but had little luck. I am looking for some pictures and idea online and I'd also like to know any stores in the Northern New Jersey area that would sell them. Nothing really specific, just a loft bed with a couch underneath.

Given the layout of my room I can only put my bed in 3 places. On my healthy wall but facing my unlucky direction ( this is also under windows), on my success wall but facing my fatal direction (this one is the position that is away from the door, giving me full view of the room and who enters), or facing DIRECTLY toward my door on my marriage wall facing my self progress direction. Which one should I go for and what could I do to help balance the bad and good out so I have good energy in the room? Thanks!

I really need a pull-out couch for my ultra tiny studio apartment. I need it so that my guests have some place to sit other than my bed when they come over and I and my boyfriend have a place to sleep, too. Thing is I am a broke college student who is supporting herself on a janitor's salary. I really can't afford to spend any more than $500.

For my wedding a couple years ago I received service for 12 in an earthenware pattern that I'm already sick of! They're from my mother-in-law so I can't really get rid of them all of a sudden. They're cream with rings of cobalt blue and dark green around the edges (they're Ocean Breeze by Pflatzgraff in case you want to look them up). Does anyone have ideas about how to bring in a theme to make these boring dishes more exciting? Thanks!!

I have hung a new door on an old door frame. the hinge side is plumb, but the latch side tapers in by about 2cm toward the bottom, so their is a considerable gap toward the top of the door when it is closed.

I have yet to fit the architrave. Can I use this to create some kind of optical illusion perhaps?

We just got a new house which is unfortunately tiled with ceramic tile in our family room, where we will do most of our living. I have a 1 year old who is rough and dives from couch to couch. If he fell on his head on that ceramic tile, the results could be terrible.

Keep in mind, we are renting this house....

I was trying to find a throw rug to put on the floor but I found something called carpet tiles. It looks to be perfect for us because of the way I could "free hand" where I want to put the carpet. I think that this could be a perfect option for us, except for one concern.

How does this stuff stick to your floor AND would it ruin the perfectly good and beautiful ceramic tile underneath it? When we move out of this house, I want to leave their house in the exact condition that it was when we moved in.

Do you think it would be possible to lay these carpet tiles down without ruining the ceramic tile underneath? Also, are these carpet tiles very padded and coushy?

Without even thinking of how much it might cost, just let your wishes control your dreams

What things make it especially Indian .... not just the building itself, but the interiors also ...

Is there a front lawn?

What does the entrance door look like and the entrance hall itself? Any pictures of God? Others?

And the living room? a dining room, too?

Do you want one, two, or three bedrooms ... and one on the ground floor? Where are the bathrooms (and how many?)

And the kitchen: what should that be like ...

Puja?
Store room?

Is there a back court with a garden? A little pool with water .... and beautiful plants around it? A mango tree or two? Play yard? Flowers?

A veranda?

Do you have any extra buildings on the property? Maybe a guest house?

What sort of colors, designs, furniture, light come into your house? Comfortable for guests?

Do you like any Vaastu Shastra plans: having a back door opposite the front door? Anything else?
