Is there a front lawn?
What does the entrance door look like and the entrance hall itself? Any pictures of God? Others?
And the living room? a dining room, too?
Do you want one, two, or three bedrooms ... and one on the ground floor? Where are the bathrooms (and how many?)
And the kitchen: what should that be like ...
Puja?
Store room?
Is there a back court with a garden? A little pool with water .... and beautiful plants around it? A mango tree or two? Play yard? Flowers?
A veranda?
Do you have any extra buildings on the property? Maybe a guest house?
What sort of colors, designs, furniture, light come into your house? Comfortable for guests?
Do you like any Vaastu Shastra plans: having a back door opposite the front door? Anything else?

exterior and interior varies from the income of an individual.
one can have his or her home best designed with lot of modern facilities and amenities and luxuries but -
"a beautiful home is made of happy and smiling and healthy people living in it."

Yes dear.. a beautiful huge entrance gate.. then a beautiful green lawn with flowers all around and green bed of grass.. nice woodwork entrance door with a swastik or Om on the wall near the door or ganesha idol /painting.. then the drawing room with enough free space to move around.. then dining room … 2 bed rooms for the family one guest room … a puja room small one and a small store room.. a veranda ..some open sky space.. a nice kitchen .. !! that’s it.

a big bungalow with very big rooms,with chandeliers and with orient style curtains.it must have a big garden with a pond and beautiful flowers.i could go on but i'll bore you!!

location of your house is also very important, it should not be very far away from your work place. your relatives and friends should also be located at manageable distance. most important thing it should be within your budget.
