I would like to install a toilet in my basement. The room is close to the main drain out to the septic tank but is about 4 feet below it. I'm assuming there is some setup for pumping the matter up to the drain pipe.

I recently got a Royal Rumble 2007 poster. I tried sticking it to my wall with tape yesterday and when I woke up this morning, it had fallen off. Even better, one of the four pieces of tape I used I had to leave on, because I can't take it off without tearing off a small chunk of the poster. (The place I was watching the PPV at stapled all the posters around the place.) So what should I do?

With my existing colour scheme of white with lots of red, it's quite cosy at night. but it never gets sunlight so tends to be a bit dull by day.
The units will be a mid-brown sort of oak colour.

Remodeling a new rental, and someone painted the walls a brick red color. The room has wood paneling all around. Can I paint over the red? What exactly is primer, and do I have to use it first? Also, since the room is paneling, I was thinking about painting only the bottom half of the walls a sage green color, and putting a new sponge paintable wallpaper on the top, seperating by trim, to create a new look. Any sugguestions on how to do all of this? Cost? The room is a 11X12 if that helps. And how much wallpaper do I need? Thanks!

It's 15 degrees below zero, snowing and icy enough to slip. I decided to artsy up an old book case because I need a place for school books... While I do have black spray paint I decided the weather was too horrible to stand in the snow spraying for a good ten minutes.. sooo.. I did something amazingly stupid... I used black oil paint (for canvas') to cover the book case. The book case is made of the same material as most cheap office furniture that comes in a box and you have to assemble.. you know ply wood with a paper covering. Now the oil paint has been on for about an hour and is still rubbing off with even the slightest touch. My question is.... How long, if at all, with it take before the oil paint is dry and the bookcase is ready to use?
The bookcase is small and more for decorative use and I've given it a fabric lining which means I don't care if the paint isn't very durable. I just want to be able sit it on the floor without a big black ring. Thank you so much!

I am needing to find some nice curtians. I also have large windows so this does not help. I don't understand why they are so expensive! When I worked at JC Penny they were outragously priced!! Even blinds such as the rolling bamboo one's are expensive!

The floor is concrete, I think, and it is grey and the support beams are metal and also grey.
Can I use the same type of paint for both, or not?
What kind of paint should I use - and if I need primer - when I want to paint everything white?

I live in an old house built in 1884...have remodeled everything but the basement. Not much ceiling height, but you can see the floor beams and pretty much have to duck if you are over 6'2". Floors are concrete and walls are concrete blocks? (I think) No moisture or foundation problems. (I have had contractors verify) Just ugly. I need to sheet rock and insulate for the ceiling I think, as a drop ceiling is too much space. But what to do with the walls and floors. Can this be sheet rocked? Paneled? What about the floors? Should I just paint the whole thing and call it a day? Help.
