With my existing colour scheme of white with lots of red, it's quite cosy at night. but it never gets sunlight so tends to be a bit dull by day.
The units will be a mid-brown sort of oak colour.

Try a butter color accented with Golden or a smidgin of a darker butter color. Yellows often reflect the sunny side of us. You can also mix your red with it. Lighter colors bring in sunlight (artificial or not) so Try something in the yellows or even peaches....Good luck

I am thinking a pale creamy yellow. Yello w is a great color for a kitchen. It creates a warming effect.
