Artificial ones are 4 times more expensive than Natural ones out here, Specially the one that I've seen, Stellar Blue with reflective mirrors. Looks GREAT however bit reluctant if it would last long as it's not natural.

I've just been through this saga. We went for natural granite - the extra expense is well worth it.

Edit - MT C, granite can't be scratched with a knife, you have no idea what you're talking about. A diamond will scratch it, maybe a tungsten tipped blade....but not a knife......no way

If you are going to sell your house someday absolutely go with the natural granite. If you are looking for something outstanding research quartz slabs, very hard material and really unique.

Natural is definitely the way to go but you may be able to get omething that looks just as good but less maintenance and that is quartz. Give a look at all of it before making adecision you may enjoy some of the many benefits. Good luck.

It depends upon what you want as to what is better. Natural granite can be diverse, non uniform and have "flaws" while manufactured tends to be more uniform. Both can be quality products, neither are impervious to knife cuts.
