hi,my room is 23sqm,with a patio at one end and a small window at the other.the ceilings are quite low.i wanted to split the room half and half but i just cant think of a colour sceme.i would like the room to appear bigger too,please help..julie

I have a rental I'm fixing up a bit and I'm trying to decide between linoleum or tile for the bathroom. I don't think the renters will take care of it as it's in the bad side of town. So which is more durable? It is 9X10. What is easier to do on my own and which is more critical to be done properly. Prices?

Essentially I'm asking which is the better brand Hunter or Hampton Bay. I've always bought hunter. They are a little bit more expensive though because they are hunter. Is there much of any difference between hunter and Hampton bay????

I have to decorate a 16 year old girls room. She loves the colours purple and sliver. She likes to be out going and creative andlikes her rom to be unusal.Froe example her last room was purple with yellow dots all over it!!!..It sounds odd-even horrible--but it was really nice. Ok maybe this is a dumb question but I am remodeling an old house and the owner told me he wanted the hardwood flooring left untouched. However theres an old clawfoot tub in the bathroom and the floors and walls look like they keep getting soaked and I dont want the wall to rot through. What do you suggest I do?

Im talking about the peel and stick kind...

I have a 18 x 18 foot "u" shaped kitchen, and a sheet vinyl floor would have to be done by a pro, to try and stay within budget, i am thinking of peel and stick vinyl tiles.....any thoughts?
The other alternative would be some lower end pergo..

The stuff at lowes between 88 cents and 1.08 doesnt look bad at all
