I know there is a paint for plastics.Can that work?

You would have to get a paint specifically for vinyl. As cheap as blinds are though, why would you want to paint them instead of just buying some in the color you want them to be?

I have never heard of anyone painting blinds, but Lowes sells a paint for plastic furniture that would work. Kinda expensive and a pain to do. What happens when you paint the strings, they would not function well. I know that if you're looking for vibrant colors, you can specail order those at Home Depot.

Unless there was an unusual color you wanted it would be far easier to just buy new blinds.
But if you must paint them just buy some spray paint & find a place where you can hang the blinds so that you can spray with out causing a mess.

Checkout the craft store for a paint called Fusion, it paints plastic, as does auto body paint

It is more trouble than it is worth. Just go buy new blinds.
Been there done that. The paint ALWAYS peals off.

Go to the paint store and ask them what would be the best way to go about painting.Spray paint or brush

Just buy NEW ones, this is one project that's not worth the effort, blinds are so cheap!!!
Can you sew ??? If not, why not take a course !!! You could then add beautiful drapes to cover up blinds (new ones included). And you can make drapes so easily and to your own specifications! You can add blackout lining and keep the sun totally out & sleep in on Sunday mornings !!! Black out lining also keeps out heat and cold and saves you bundles of money on electric & heating!!! Girls PLEASE learn to sew -- it's easy and fun and stress-busting !!!
