You can usually get some "magazine racks" that can be glued, or screwed into the wall. If your closet is reasonably stuffed with a few things you never wear, these can go on the back, and won't get in the way much. If your closet isn't too full, you might stick something like that to the BACk of the inner door, assuming your closet has sliding doors.

Most any furniture that sits on the floor and has shelves will usually contain some space beneath the bottom shelf, which is a lot easier to hide stuff in safely. I would not recommend taping anything remotely valuable to the bottom of a shelf, although the back of the shelf is often pretty good.

If you have a boom box for music, the battery case is a decent stash for small things, and for VERY small things, the binding of hardback books can sometimes work without hollowing the book itself out. (Hollowing out a book takes way too much time to really be worth it anyway.)

You can buy CD sheets to stick in a binder, or take the sheets out of a CD case, and put them in cardboard folders. The folders keep them nice and stiff so you can slide them behind pieces of furnture. Individual CDs can also be hidden in between the pages of a large book. I'd keep it in a little paper case if you're doing that though. Picture frames are also a good place for hiding flat materials like this, especially if you have some big pictures.

If you're into some James Bond stuff, nobody looks at the top of a door. You could use a router to grind out a shelf-slot on top of the door. If the door was hollow core, you'll also need to put a wood bottom in the hole. The whole thing will also need to be lined with felt to keep things from making noise. Nah. I've got better things to do than that.

Well, good luck, and remember to use your new stashes only for good... Umm, sort of anyway. I guess everybody has something to hide.

A good place for those types of things is to go to a corner of the room if you have carpet and gently tug the carpet up in a corner, if possible. and then tuck it back down when done. No one would ever walk over a corner to feel anything below their feet there. Of course i do not know your room layout, so not sure what type of flooring you have.

Another good place is on top of a ceiling fan , if it is a small diary.

Now with porn, that should be moved around, not kept all in one place lol.

Another good place for small things, such as sodas is inside a coat jacket pocket (preferably an older jacket that you do not wear as much) in your closet, if you have a closet.

Taping items to the underside of drawers work well too. That would be for a diary, cd's, etc...

Pillowcases are always a good hiding place to - that could be for chips, candy bars, or any other type of snack foods.

These all depend on room layout, who is in and out of there, at what times, and what they do when they are there.

Good luck with your privacy :)

Always,
Laura~

If your diary is small enough you could hide it in the pocket of a pair of jeans that are folded up in your drawer, small fireworks in the toes of shoes in your closet. The best way to hide things is to hide them in plain sight. Good-luck.
