I have just painted a chocolate feature wall in my kitchen and would now like to add a collection of framed family photes but not sure what colour frame will go?
The kitchen is brown colour with a hint of burgandy, appliances silver, brown sofa and brown rug ( have 2 young kids so brown is recomended ). I am now afraid there are to many browns so would like to brighten the room a little, the rest of the walls are a sandy colour.

I want to redo my bathroom, and put a new tile up in the tub/shower. I'd like to do 12x12 marble with no grout lines, but marble may be out of my budget. Will ceramic or porcelin tile look just as nice, and do those tiles come without the rounded edges or will I have to cut them off? Remember, I want no grout lines between the tiles.

So we're thinking about remodeling the bathroom with new paint, new tile, new tub, and new countertops. What worries me is that we're starting to see the tape lines on the walls. Is this something to be worried about? I was thinking about maybe sanding them down, apply a coat of primer and new coat of texture. Would this be enough?

The theme is whimsical street scene with cars, trucks, buses. I used to have all the matching bath stuff, but the paint is all chipping off, and they look terrible. What can I accessorize with instead? I was going to put candles in there, but that doesn't make much sense in a kids bathroom.

I plan to install dark laminate flooring for my apartment. Can anyone please help me with the wall colors? I want a warm cozy look and feel. Would it look awful if I were to choose a different color flooring for the bedrooms and kitchen? And windows? White or wood color the same shade as the flooring? Please help. Thanks.

I have recently moved into an old house with hardwood floors throughout - the only problem is that they are so old that they really should be refinished, but I am not about to start that right now. Does anyone know of a product that will at least make them shine? I have tried "Mop Magic" for hardwood floors - doesn't do it - and I have tried other products that say they clean and shine and still no shine. Any suggestions other than the big job of refinishing? I'll try anything!!
