My room is painted like that too! I have striped blue and brown and white bedspread (thin stripes only), a shade lighter of the walls for curtains. All bought at JC Penney and Macy's.

Suggest a nice blue - maybe even a royal blue. Take some samles to the paint shop or even search the net for color matching

Ikea has a great blueish colored bed set, also use dark blue or bright red or yellow curtains.

Lilac sounds good, that's a new one! I also think that peach and aqua go well together. You want to avoid pink, though, because that's reminiscent of baby colors.

Tobacco brown, chocolate brown, silver. This are major color trends right now. Whatever you decide to do, keep in mind that for complete color harmony, you will need to introduce 3 colors: 1 dominant color (the walls) 1 medium color (the trim and moldings) and 1 accent color (decorating accessories)

I would go with lilac, pale yellow, or pink.
Black, brown, or fushia accents if you want it to be real dramatic.

Have FUN!
