I have stoneware, china and corelleware. the most resilient is the corelleware. i have had it for 25 years and wish it would die, but it doesnt break or wear down. My stoneware is less forgiving and chips easily... the china is even more fragile.

the stoneware can be used in the oven and dishwasher... the corelleware can be used in the microwave, dishwasher, oven... the china I hand wash.
