OK well i need to make a Yule log (something like a giant ho-ho) for my French class. I need ideas as to how to shape/decorate it . It needs to be able to hold the filling and it needs to be appropriate. CREATIVE ok i know i can shape it like a log... I know how to make it.HOW DO I SHAPE AND DECORATE THIS??? please give me suggestions that aren't too difficult (a life size eifel tower) keep in mind its french class so french ideas would be cool. but any good idea will work.Thank u

Do a French flag: blue, white and red bands, or if you're talented aretistically do the royal flag with the fleur de lis!

I've seen one that actually looked like a log...complete with meringue mushrooms!

go to foodnetwork.com they probably have some great ideas. they always have cake challenges.
