the cave walls are stone lavers not solid and very rough with the odd compressed clay layer in between .The caves i have seen all sound hollow when you tap them and so have not stuck and damage easy .

Right now my bedroom walls are white. It's very boring. The bedroom itself is not real big and the carpet is cream. I have a maroon bedspread that I use in winter, and a cream one in the summer. Other than that, there is no other color to worry about matching. I want something soothing and calm, yet interesting to look at. The doors (including closest) and door frames will stay white. It's an open canvas!

Can we just "add on" to the existing foundation? Will the tiny space (if any) between the existing and newly poured slabs cause problems in the future? What other caveats are there to consider? Thanks for any info!

I have an old house from the 50s so not a lot of cabinet space. The ones by the sink are super small and I have all my dishes in there. I have one big floating cabniet that I think someone made in the 70's. It's just a big empty space with a very small shelf a the back that only extends for half the size of the cabinet. Right now I have all my baking and cooking stuff- shoved into this thing and it's a mess. Is there any way to organize it better? Keep in mind my kitchen is super small and I can't hang anything on the walls or from the ceiling. It's crazy, it's the size of an apartment kitchen! We plan to redo but for the first 5 years it has to stay like this.
Any suggestion or website you can recommend would greatly help!

Window size is 24" x 60". I have 18 windows and was quoted and am trying to determine if I am better off buying windows from homedepot and hiring a contractor to install. A gerneral idea of cost of installation is what I'm looking for.
