I want to add a light to the bathroom that automatically comes on when you flip the switch to the main light (without rewiring the bathroom). Is there such a thing?

I saw somewhere a country french kitchen that had alot of black accents and twall (may not have spelled right) fabric. They also used french sayings on the wall and roosters. I am trying to do this in my kitchen and have looked on Yahoo and Google search engines for examples of this style and have not found what I am looking for. I am not remodleing my kitchen, just restyling it. I have painted the walls and cabinets and now am looking for additional decorating ideas. Anyone got any ideas for this style I am looking for?

B&Q have not yet lived up to expectations - no fit date yet, no pre-fit survey etc. and now we are considering cancelling but just want to know if there people out there who used their installation services and products and would recommend them wholeheartedly!

It is a 13 year old birthday party

the colors are bright pink, light orange, and lime green.

The party will be during late afternoon/night (ends at 10 pm) and it will be dark for majority of the party. I'm Planning on putting xmas lights up, but how can I hang them creatively?

The party is outdoors.

Please help! If you have suggestions on creative ways to do streamers, ect. or get the birthday person's name in lights, please post!!
dare I say this, but it should remain *fairly* cheap

Any help is appreciated!!!!!!

When the former homeowners painted, they made some minor drips and dribbles. I'd like to remove those spots from the baseboards, window trim, and doors. Is there any simple way to do this? (They paint is water soluable but has been there awhile).

I'm looking for somethings like Lanters, throw pillows and other neat kinds of stuff. I don't want to get taken to the cleaners either. So far the bedroom looks like Goth meets Arabian Nights....

Our (rented) townhouse has a very bleak cement block basement. Right now the blocks are painted white and cream (and not in a pretty pattern) and the floor is painted dark gray. We want to use the basement as a fitness room and a crafting area for scrapbooking. The lighting is also terrible. What are some ways we can brighten up the space and make it more hospitable without doing any permanent construction (remember we are renting) or spending a lot of money?

I want to change my rugs and towels to burgandy and or dark greens. My floor looks like wood grain. Should I be bold and paint it a bright color My room is large and light. My appliances are in the room and they are white. Thanks for your imput. Shelby
