you should probably try a neutral color because orange and black are pretty bold and you don't want to introduce another bold color. you should try to get swatches at a paint store and try different colors against the wall. also, i think there might be some decorating websites that allow you to make an online model of the room to try out different paint colors.

my moms living room has a lot of orange and black and they painted the walls grey and it looked really great... even though I'm not a huge fan of grey. Then it'll also be very versatile if you decide to change your comforter color... it will still go with the black furniture. If you really like things unique, a lighter green (like light lime green) would really be a great contrast to the orange and black, but maybe a bit halloweenish.

Tan, sand or oatmeal, then use brown and off white accents all over as well such as pillows, throws and cushions.
