My son is potty training and he just made a mess in my bed. I almost freak out when I saw the terrible stain and smell in my feather down comforter, I know it has to be dry clean, but will I ruin it if I just put it in my washer on the gentlest cycle???
Pleaee help me I´m so desperate!!

I have a little plastic spraybottle and I poured some liquid air freshener in it about a year ago and its been in there since. I finally dumped it out and now the bottle smells like the air freshener and I cant get it out no matter how much I wash it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, The walls (at the water line) and my filter covers are sticky in my hot tub. This green stuff (possibly a mold?) returns every time I scrub it away. It sticks to skin and takes a lot of soap just to get clean again. I use the Soft Soak system. How can I get my hot tub clean again?

Thanks!

I accidentally got candle wax on my wooden coffee table. It's got a gloss on it, so I was able to scrape off the clumps of wax really easily. But now I have this film thats left over and it looks nasty and cloudy. How can I get this off? Everytime I try and wipe it off it just smears. Help!

I wipe my bum after I go number two but after I change into my PJ's and put my clothes in the hamper I notice big, dirty skid marks. I try washing them out with normal laundry detergent but it doesn't come out. My friend told my to use a mix of bleach and lighter fluid but I think he was joking but I'm not. Help?

My son has a really nice new top which is dark red with white sleeves. I have never successfully managed to wash a top like this without the dark colour running into the white, even using a Colour Catcher sheet. Does anyone know how I can do this?

My daughter colored herself with permanant marker. Soap and water isn't working. Do I just wait it out? Won't it fade in a few days?

I just can't seem to keep my house clean, I'm finally out on my own and realizing that mama did I lot more than I gave her credit for. I'll clean my house really well and then the next day it is trashed! I need some sort of schedule or something, I have an 8 month old, so I don't have tons of time for the house, but I want it clean, do you guys have any suggestions? I need some help...

She says that she read this somewhere but I can seem to find anything that can back this up. Can anyone provide a link to some information that either backs up this claim or refutes it? I started leaving out the fabric softener when I do the sheets and towels (yes, I do the laundry) and now the towels are coming out stiff as a board. Is fabric softeer really going to damage my sheets and/or towels?

I like that they are antibacterial and I LOVE they way the LAVENDER Lysol smells. I figured a couple of teaspoons is okay. Or is irritating for your skin? Or can it run your clothes? They should make anti-bacterial Tide by now! One other questions, does COLOR SAFE BLEACH kill germs, is it anti-bacterial? I'm very paranoid 'cause I recently had a MRSA staph infection. I'm using regular bleach with the whites but not sure what to do with the colors. And I like my clothes to smell SUPER FRESH but I don't want a rash. Any ideas appreciated.

Ok, so I washed and dried my husbands work shirts w/ ink pen. The shirts are white except where the company logo is. I would like to know how to get the ink spots out of them. I know I should use bleach, but how? Do I need to actually put bleach on all the individual spots or do i need to pour bleach in some water and let it soak....I dont know, please help me. The company charges and outragous amount of $$ for the shirts so I dont want to buy any unless its a last resort. What do I do?

I dont know if its got a name but stuff like using vinegar and water to clean windows and baking soda to clean kettles. I find it really annoying that people would do this sort of thing lol! Whats wrong with a quick spray of Mr Muscle and a cloth, rather than dogs urine applied with a toothbrush?
