Fels Naptha it! You cant find Fels Naptha at walmart, but some local groceries have it. It's a bar laundry soap. I have had stains in outfits for years that suddenly will come out with toothbrush and Fels Naptha.

What the Experts say on Coffee Stains
The following is the advice from textile experts on how to remove a coffee stain. The best time to deal with a coffee stain is immediately after it occurs. To remove the coffee stain place the right side of the stain on a blotter, which can be a clean soft cloth or a heavyweight paper towel. Then, lightly sponge the wrong side of the stain with another white soft cloth. If the stain seems stubborn, use a commercial stain remover that's available from your local supermarket. If it's a large stain, work a small area at a time until the entire stain is blotted, brushing lightly from the center of the stain outward. Most stain removers should do the trick in one application but if not, repeat. When the stain disappears, rinse the fabric in clear water and air dry.
Do not use a hair dryer or dryer machine as heat sets stains. If the stain is still present after running it through the washing machine do not put the item in the dryer or your item is doomed. Run it through another hand-wash treatment as mentioned above to give the coffee stain another try.
Old Coffee Stain Remove Method
A old recipe for coffee stain removal is to use one teaspoon of white vinegar in one quart cold water; sponge on the stain as described above, then wipe clean. Baking soda sprinkled or rubbed into a damp stain also works. Sprinkle some baking soda directly onto a damp cloth then use the cloth to soak up the stain.
Store Bought Coffee Stain Removal Products
Your local supermarket shelves have an assortment of reliable spot removers which are effective in removing coffee stains. The best are oxygen style removers that break down the stain compounds eating away at the stain without harming the fabric. These take a little time to work, but do work if you follow the directions. Put the stain remover on the stain, allow 20 to 30 minutes to work its magic and then put into the laundry as usual.
These methods are best for clothes and washable linens. If, however, you have coffee stains on antique linens, silk blends, or silk clothes, it is best to take them to your trusted dry cleaner immediately. Always tell them the type of stain and fabric to give them better direction on how to attack the problem. Removing a coffee stain is not impossible, it just one that needs to be tacked as soon as the stain occurs.
Goodluck!

Shout Advanced for set in stains! I LOVE THIS STUFF. I buy it at Walmart. You spray on, scrub fabric together, and let it sit for up to 3 days (or less/more). Have never tried it on coffee, but I would imagine it would work.
For the future, if you don't already know, soda water/club soda will help to lift the stain - if you're out at a restaurant or coffee shop, ask a worker if they have any available and put on a white napkin then blot the stain. I know this works because I am a server who wears a white shirt that always gets something on it!
And to comment on using COKE. I too have heard it takes stuff out. Like a rust stain on the counter, but I have never tried it.

Hydrogen peroxide (that stuff that comes in a brown bottle used for treating cuts, gargling, etc.) is the best stain remover ever; and it can be used on colored clothes without harming them. Pour it on there and rub it in because it tends to bead up when it first gets on there. Watch it foam up. Let it sit for about a minute or two and launder as usual. It even works on old set in stains.
Forget about Shout and all those other commercial stain removers. They don't work and they are waste of money. I've never seen peroxide not work and it's cheap! You can get a 16 oz. bottle for a buck.

Get a clean shirt. Put one teaspoon full of coffee powder into the pocket of the shirt. Put the shirt into one steel vessel. Add 250 ml of pure water. Plce it on a stove and let it boil. Get the vessel out and pour good coffee. Add sufficient quantity of sugar and enjoy the COFFEE OUT OF THE SHIRT. You can take out the shirt now and re use it later for making coffee.
Tip: You can also make tea this way.

Immediately: The best way is to take a coffee stain out as soon as possible - before it dries and sets in.
At work, I would always rush to the restroom sink, pull the shirt out, hold a dry paper towel pad under my shirt and blot it with a sopping wet towel. Yes, the big wet spot looked really awful, especially until it dried. But the stains always disappeared completely when washed.

I would let the shirt soak in a detergant and lukewarm water for a few hours before washing it. Coffee stains tend to come out.

This is the honest truth:
Wash the shirt alone. 1 Can of Coke Cola and some detergent. Let it soak for about 10 mins then set the wash to go. Its the truth. Coke will take anything out.

the best thing to get rid off any stain, blood, coffee, etc is hydrogern peroxide, it is great even when you have a soar throat. It was highly recomended by my nose/troat/ear dr to put a drop or two in each ear at least once a week, the best way to clean them !! Also leave your toothbrush in a recipient with this and it will be free of infections !!!

u should make a paste with your detergent and rub it on the shirt. let it sit for about 5 minutes and then wash it like normal in warm water. If that doesn't work then I would try oxyclean or that tide to go pen . something of that nature would work best.
