I have a little plastic spraybottle and I poured some liquid air freshener in it about a year ago and its been in there since. I finally dumped it out and now the bottle smells like the air freshener and I cant get it out no matter how much I wash it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

3 solutions here... 1. fill it with bleach and let it sit say... 20 min to half hour. then wash with soap and rinse well. if that doesn't work...2. soak it over night in white vinegar. once again wash and rinse well. if that doesnt work....3. break out 1.50 and buy a new bottle. the dollar stores sell them for a buck 2 or 3 if you want a big one. usually found in cosmetics isle or garden center. good luck.

but a new bottle. usually, these things are made of cheaper plastics and retain odors for forever.
