never use a tooth brush, itcan lossen up the diamonds. Just soak in a little vinegar/ water and rub with a soft cloth, no need to brush the diamond with a brush, u are cleaning a diamond, not your teeth. good luck.

Use a 1/4 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup of water and a drizzle of dawn dish soap, soak it for about 10 or so min. then use an old toothbrush and scrub it good ,works wonders until I can get to the jewelry store to have it hot sprayed. Good Luck.
