how do I wash a down jacket it puffs up in washer and doesn't evenly wash????

I was told as long as you don't let the china go throught the drying cycle it will not be damaged and I have done so a few times and so far nothing has happened.

Here's the situation (and laugh it up if you'd like):
--I have my Grandmother here, who had just spent the night...and she had wet bed...MINE, in general. And many of us know that old people stink (no offense to those currently reading). My brother was supposed to take care of my bed, but he had decided to vacuum the bed's wet spot. The linen's dry, but now the vacuum reeks...and since we're trying to use it, everyone in the house--grandma aside--is suffering.

---Does anyone know how to permanently rid a vacuum of such a rank stench?! Please answer quickly---my brother's resorting to using coffee creamer as a carpet deodorizer....-_-

I'm in a dorm with 3 other guys. there are two bathrooms. The one I use always gets a water ring around it after a while. So it has to be cleaned often. So I was wondering if I should use 2000 flushes to help prevent the ring. The Blue one, because I like the blue color water.

Have you used it? If so what are your reviews of it. The pros and cons of it.

Is it safe to use? Will it mess up the toilet. Because I don't have extra $$$$ to pay to my college, if it needs to be fixed.

these stickers have been on the outside on the window for about 10 years!
they wont peel off cuz they just fall to bits, i cant think of anything to get them off with that doesnt involve scraping or scouring!
any ideas?

As for me, I use my towels for a week or more but I dry my private areas with my terrycloth robe so they aren't gross to dry my face with. Bedsheets, about once a month---since it's just clean me in the bed I don't see a reason to be more frequent.

The odor occurs when clothes sit damp, like towels. Some things like baking soda take it away when the article is dry, but as soon as it is damp again, the smell returns. Any definitive treatments, or is all lost?

What is the point of the little door on the inside of a dishwasher which flaps open and shoots the dishwasher tablet into the machine? Why are we deemed incapable of throwing the tablet in ourselves?

there are 4 of us in the household. my husband and i work full-time we both full-time parents(of course) we have separete days off and it just seems that no matter what the house is a diaster. i know with 2 kids it should be "lived in" but this is out of control. i guess what im asking is how do i get a schedule to fit with us?

my washing machine still wont drain the water out (i have try the drain filter and the pipes0 the drain pump spining but still no joy.

I have a silk comforter made with silk batting that I'd like to wash. Is it okay to wash in the washer/dryer? Or does this take special cleaning methods?

I bought comforter/duvet in China on a trip there. Instructions were included but they were in Chinese!

I had a cooler with water in it and had left it outside for some time. Mold has formed in the inside bottom of the cooler and wanted to get rid of it. Is there any thing I can do/use (ie: bleach) to get rid of it?
