We buy and sell real estate... we have had to clean years of scum off perfectly good ceramic tile in bathrooms. The thing that works best is OVEN CLEANER. The kind that comes in a spray can. You spray the tile and leave it on for about 20 minutes... or just follow the directions on the can. The soap scum will wipe right off. No scrubbing necessary. The tile will come clean and so will the grout. If the grout needs to be whitened, use Lysol Mildew Remover.

Is the upward push cleansing soap scum or calcium or lime (demanding water marks)? cleansing soap scum will come off with warm water and a touch elbow grease, so let's anticipate it is demanding water, ok? between the perfect and espresso value is a product called milk stone solvent it is used with information from farmers to sparkling their milking kit and also you will get it on the Co op, that's plenty more competitively priced than CLR, and calls for far less scrubbing. i might want to placed on gloves and delivers your self as a lot ventilation as you could, then use between the non scratching scrubbies, like those made with information from 3M, or any eco-friendly one secure for Telflon. it would want to take a pair of applications however it is going to ultimately sparkling it off. Now the trick is to save it that way.... a good high quality motor vehicle wax will paintings to sheet the water, so it would not stick, yet you'll favor to re-practice often times. the right thanks to stay sparkling, between cleanings is have everybody use a squeegee and do the glass each and each and every time they bathe, an oz of prevention and all that. What i take advantage of for my section, because i don't love chemical substances is a good high quality Norwex microfiber textile, pronounced with information from their sprucing textile, what incredible products and they'd nicely be used elsewhere to boot. desire this helps.

When all else has failed, try this:
Step 1-Buy CLR. (You can find it almost anywhere)
Step 2-Buy a cheap spray bottle. (Usually $1.00)
Step-3-Buy a Scrubbing/Scouring Pad. (The kind that is half sponge with a "scratchy" side.)
Step 4-Put the CLR in the bottle. (READ THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CLR BOTTLE!)
Step 5-Vent the room and spray down the shower tiles.
Step 6-Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then scrub.
Step 7-Rinse WELL.
Step 8-Admire the results!
Optional Step 9-Use Windex and a paper towel to make your shower sparkle!
Hope it helps!

If you have used things like Lysol Tub and Tile and still have 'scum' it is probably calcium or lime buildup from hard water.. try CLR and a gentle scouring pad like Scrunge

I tried everything too. Nothing seemed to work. Finally, I got in there with a brillo pad and Comet and SCRUBBED. Now I spray it after every shower to prevent that again.

Use Borax. You can find it in the laundry soap isle and it works great for many other things as well! It's not harsh and has no smell like bleach or CRL. Good Luck!
