Believe it or not, Samuel S has the right answer for that one! Nothing beats a good, sharp razor blade! You can get "razor scrapers" at most any hardware store. Make sure you use a new and sharp blade. Any nicks or broken corners will leave little scratches. But a brand new one will glide right over the glass without leaving scratches. If the sticker's really old and tough, you may have to "poke" it a lot from the sides. Sometimes it helps to add a solvent, to speed up the removal. Squirt a bit of WD-40 on the area, and get some on the blade as well. Once you've got it almost all off, WD-40 or lighter fluid will clean off the leftover adhesive. Then spray the area with a good glass cleaner, to get off any remaining traces of the solvent.

Trying to remove a sticker or decal with solvents only, even with a rag, is really slow going, and usually the solvent can't penetrate the sticker itself to get down to the adhesive. If the sticker is so old it disintegrates when you try to scrape it, you know the adhesive is already so dry that solvents really aren't much good.

Use a finger nail or similar to get the top layers off. Once you have done that, use a little white spirit on kitchen paper to remove the glue. If the stickers are on the paint work or plastic, try a little on an inconspicuous bit to make sure it doesn't cause any damage. Wipe down the surface immediately afterwards with a little soapy water.

You need Goo Gone or Sticky Stuff Remover from the Kleeneze or Betterware catalogues. They're the same product which removes stickers very quickly, also polishes up dull plastics and cleans jewellery stones.

i found this on the link lower than. that's going to do the trick for you!! How am i able to eliminate a bumper decal that grow to be placed on my back window? to commence, lay an excellent rag over the decal and soak it with water. enable that set an hour or so and then eliminate the rag. Use a unmarried-edged razor blade to scrape away the decal. once you're achieved with that, pat the area dry and then sparkling some thing else of the glue off with any remover this style of Goo-lengthy previous. ultimately, only wash the window.

rub vegetable oil into them with the tip of your finger, going over it again and again til its saturated. let it sit for 1/2 hour then take a sharp, brand new razor in a scraper handle and gently lift off as much as you can of the stickers. repeat if necessary. a final wash with vinegar should remove gummy residue and any remaining bits.

White vinegar or distilled, or nail polish remover with a soft cloth and some elbow grease. Also, you could try hot soapy water and rub with a cloth til it comes off. I would say mix the vinegar with some hot water and try that, or mix all three (try not to blow yourself up lol)

Hope this helps xxxxxx

I have had great success with regular liquid Brasso. Leave it on for about 10 minutes to soak in and then reapply rubbing vigorously with a duster. Has worked for me, so good luck!
