My fiance' surprised me by cleaning the house and doing all the laundry. However, he cleaned the hardwood floor then polished it.......WITH PLEDGE. We are all slipping and sliding. How can I get it off so we can stop walking like were on ice. I tried ammonia and water but its still slick.

I accidently dried a load of clothes and there was a black permanent magic marker in my son's jeans pocket. My dryer has black streaks all over it on the inside! Although dry now, I don't want to dry more clothes where the residue will heat up and transfer to other clothing. Does anyone know what can take this off?

Are they any good? Have you had one? Do you have one? Any brands to go for or others to particularly avoid? Are they suitable for family use?
Any experiences on washer/dryers greatly appreciated.
