Do not let them dry -
fill your washing machine with cold water
go to the grocery store and get the sheets that go in with the wash that absorb colors that bleed
wash again
if still not out then you can try adding just a touch of bleach and wash again
if still doesn't work - wash everything that matches the sheets with the same red blanket so it will all match

Go to walmart in the section where the dyes are and look for a bottle of something called dyes out. But read the label first, to made sure it doesn't take the original print off with it. This is not a bleach. It cost around $3:00 dollars. Try it, it's cheaper than buying new sheets.

Regular bleach will probably do it just fine. Add the reg amount for a load. Let them soak for about 10 min and then wash. Wash again the same way if it all didn't come out.Do not dry in between.Drying will set the red dye!!!This is what I did when I made some white towels pink one time and some of them had colors mixed and they were fine. Best wishes!

If you put the washer with water (let it fill) then add bleach (a bit)then let swish for a while add the sheets. Stop the machine and let them soak in the bleach and water for a while, then wash as usual again you might not ruin the print. I have done it and it works for my linens. Just don't let them soak for too long, about 5 minutes or so. Let me know if it works for you. Just edit your answer. ok?

try using clorox stain out for colors I use it on my daughters clothes it works pretty good. I would put the sheets in the sink or tub and soak the sheets just add the clorox stain out a little at a time in small amounts. This is just what i would do. or you could ask your roomate where the sheets were purchased and replace them if it doen't work.

Give a gift certificate to a linen store for sheets of equal or greater quality. Of course your roommate might not care. Either way, I'd go with the gift cert cause at least it would make me feel better.

Bleach them with colour safe bleach or buy a bottle of Spray and Wash Oxy Power (it's the one with the pink side and white side that mix when you squirt it) and soak them in it and wash them again. I've never found a stain that this magic potion can't get rid of.

Don't sweat the little stuff. Confront your roommate. Apologize profusely and give a gift certificate or offer to buy new sheets.

Options:
1)Buy new sheets
2) Ignor it, put them in the closet and ask him if he just came out of the closet recently with pink sheets.
3)Confront him angrily and ask why his pink sheets turned your white blanket red!

Unfortunately I don't think there is any way of undoing the damage. You can try washing it over and over again and using something like Calgon with a whitener but if its really colored badly I don't see it helping. Probably buying new ones for your roomate will be the only solution.
