I accidently dried a load of clothes and there was a black permanent magic marker in my son's jeans pocket. My dryer has black streaks all over it on the inside! Although dry now, I don't want to dry more clothes where the residue will heat up and transfer to other clothing. Does anyone know what can take this off?

Sounds like it may be a permanent problem, but you could try one of the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on it. Good luck.

If the marker is dry it should not transfer to clothes. If you are worried throw a wet old towel in and dry it, see if it comes off. You could always call the company, some make a product to take the marker off, otherwise there isn't much you can do with permanent marker.
