Shrinking Cotton?

I WANT to shrink a couple of Cotton Shirts.. but it seems the only time I shrink clothing is when I DON'T want too.. What do you do to shrink clothes in the wash, just wash with hot water?

Depending on how much you want the garments to shrink, I would wash them on warm setting and dry them as well on warm setting.Now not enough, lets go, to the hot cycle, after completeing the hot cycle, put in dryer on hottest setting.

Wash with hot water, then dry for an extended period of time. Good Luck :-)
