A while back i bought some high dollar rugs for the bathroom. They were yellow and stained the floors yellow. Well since then we have moved and now have nicer tiled floors and i dont want to stain the floors this time. the rugs are different and green. I have never had any bathroom rugs stain floors and i want to know how to prevent this from happening. If you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know. THANKS!!

I use Sun laundry detergent, a cheap brand, but it has a wonderful smell. I also use Downy Clean Breeze fabric softener. My clothes always smell really good when I take them from the washer and put them in the dryer, but by the time I take them from the dryer, they have no scent at all. I'd love for my clothes to smell really good, and I've tried using dryer sheets, but nothing works.
Granted, it's better that they smell like nothing than to have them smell bad, but I'd still like for them to smell good. :)
Any tips? I thought it might be that I had the heat up too high, so now I dry all my clothes on the low setting, but that hasn't changed anything.
Thanks! :)

The clippings get absolutely glued to the socks. I have tried scraping, lint roller, duct tape, etc. and nothing works. Any magic solutions?

There was not fire. The pan & bacon were immediately removed. But the house still smells (sort of like popcorn in a microwave--can't get rid of it).

I'm thinking about buying either Mr Clean or Pine-Sol, but these are the only ones I know. Are any others on the market, and are they better?

I've heard white vinegar has many useful features: cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc...but isn't there an inherent sour odor to it? It's great if it cleans your bathroom floors spotless, but is walking into the room and smelling that odor worth it? Let me preface by saying I've never tried using white vinegar myself, so I can only assume the scent would be quite pungeant. Maybe I'm not taking into account dilution or concentration levels. Anybody used vinegar before and the results, smelly or not?

I started working 10 hours a day 6 days a week and I have 4 yr old from previous realtionship. He juts lost his job and has gotten very demanding on house chores. I wash dishes and take out the trash daily but the rest of the chores are done on weekends. He thinks I don't do enough and decided to leave. am I wrong?
