Oooh! I've got a good idea what that is like. It is soooooo annoying! My daughter has a little playhouse at the bottom of our garden(its a shed really) but my Dad made it+ its got fancy bits on+ windows with net curtains. Its got carpet inside, painted walls, a little box/desk in, chalks+ blackboard etc so she's in+ out from the back door to 'little house' + back again.. in just her socks.
Not only do i end up having to soak them in a bucket

Just let them air-dry. The clippings will be dry and easy to shake off. Or just keep a set of socks set aside for that reason, and wash separately, by hand, and hang on the line, so as not to spread the grass around in your washer and dryer. Hey, why are you washing his socks, anyway? If he's old enough to get dirty working, he's old enough to clean up after himself, which includes doing his own laundry. I've been doing my own laundry since I was 12, and I'm a guy!

i've got had the comparable project and what i've got performed is used an air compressor to blow all of it loose. in view that maximum human beings don't have an air compressor mendacity around, even with the incontrovertible fact that, a leaf blower could accomplish plenty, even with the incontrovertible fact which you won't be in a position to regulate how problematical you're blowing (and with a bit of luck the rocks are heavy sufficient to stay in place with the two gadget!). as quickly as you have have been given it loosened and blown off the rocks, then you could rake all of it up. in basic terms a guideline...i may well be interested in seeing human beings's responses 'reason it is not undemanding or handy to be dragging an air hose each and each of ways from the barn to the abode! solid success!

Why is he doing gardening in his socks?? Dangerous stuff he could loose his toes or a foot..:-) Seriously- Suitable boots with steel toecaps and proper trousers over the tops, and the grass should not get inside his boots in the first place. He coild also wear gaiters, lots of gardeners do, get some from an outdoor shop.

Leave a vacuum out in the garage for him to use with the brush attachment. That's what I use on mine. Keeps from tracking grass clippings indoors too.

He should take them off outside before he comes indoors and shake them good to get rid of the cut grass.

Usually washing does this for you, but if there are stains the use methylated spirit before putting in the machine
