I haven't used this for burnt milk but I have for other heavy duty pot stains and it works!! Use a combination water (1/2 an inch or so) and a couple of tablespoons of baking soda. Put the pot back on the stove and let it slowly simmer for several minutes...but this time watch the pot! It should make clean-up easy for you.

I have read that if you put water in a pan and boil water in it, supposedly the burnt on food will come off. Otherwise scrubbing until your arm practically falls off works too. Good luck

Soak it overnight in warm water with a bit of dish washing soap, then scrub with a sponge. If it is really thick you can use a spoon to scrape it before scrubbing.

Try vinegar, if it works for burnt coffee pots it should work for burnt milk.

oven cleaner or boiling vinegar then turn it off and add baking soda let set when cool scrub clean.

hot water and put 2 denture cleaning tablets in, leave overnight and you should be able to clean it off then.
