The going rate for cleaning is $25 to $35 per hour. For $50.00 I would NOT do any more than 2 work hours .. if you do then you are being taken advantage of. If you are going to work for less .. say $10 per hour then go get a JOB working for a cleaning company or hotel .. there is no reason you should be taking the risk of working for yourself if you are making what you would make working for a company..

Not knowing what part of the country you live in it is a little difficult to answer. In the Midwest $50.00 gets you 2---2 1/2 hours of cleaning work by 1 person.
If the house is big and has 8 or more rooms, you may state that you will clean the kitchen, baths, LR or FR plus 2 bedrooms one week and then the following time you will repeat cleaning the kitchen, baths LR (FR) and the others rooms not done the first time. Rotation cleaning is popular with a lot of people

For $50 clean whatever they ask. As for time, I would work more than 4 1/2 hours. Cleaning is worth all of 10 dollars an hour.
