For a more permanent clean than just a masking agent (Febreeze), you can use a steam cleaner:

I use Febreeze. It really works well in my entire house to help get rid of the smoke smell.

Febreeze!!!! Works like a charm. Original scent is my favorite.

febreeze or if it's REALLY bad and if your really anal about it (don't worry if you are because I'm a freak when it comes to making things smell better) then you might need to steam clean it.

get some real good and strong smelling candles or freshener and clean up in the room where it is
