There is a water softening plant installed and hence I don't think it is a hard water problem. The soap and dried water stains are difficult to remove from the glass shower partition.

Now we've got these 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 dishwasher tablets which claim to contain salt, does it mean we can do away with the kind of dishwasher salt that comes in a big plastic bag?

I forgot to turn the fire to simmer and left it on high until the inside of the entire pot turned black and brown. Ugh! It's a stainless steel. What works best to clean this type of food burnt in this type of pot? Any great tips would be appreciated. (Forget the wise cracks.) Thank you.

I had two cats but I don't have them anymore. One pissed all over my bed in anger and then sometimes would pee on the carpet even though the liter box was cleaned. I cleaned the pee up... but the odor is still lingering and it is starting to become a "tad" unbearable. Any suggestions?

We have only extremely short-pile carpets in our apartment, and our last vacuum (a dust devil) had difficulty cleaning them properly. Any advice as to a vacuum cleaner that would work well on these kinds of rugs?

I recently moved into an apartment that was not cleaned very well by the landlord, and the previous tenants had cats.

What is the best way to clean the walls that are covered in flat paint, short of repainting the walls? I'm sure the walls absorbed some of the cat odors because it just won't go away. Can you clean walls well that are covered in flat paint?

I can tell that the plastic venetian blinds have a filth on them, and I have a good technique for cleaning them in the bathtub and I think that will help a good deal.

Any USEFUL ideas you have would be appreciated. Thanks..!

I have had these stupid jeans for over a year, and have washed them well over 100 times, yet they are still stiff, thick, dark, and uncomfortable. How can I get them "worn in" besides the obvious wearing them often (I've tried. Still stiff.) I've heard that washing new jeans in vinegar prevents them from fading. Anyone out there know how I can get them lighter and softer? I'm about ready to donate them.
