You may get some weird answers on this one, so I will tell you a good way to get your name out.
Make signs and put them at your church or mosque, and ask your mom to put them up at her job. It is best to start babysitting for people you know. (I messed up and babysat for strangers and ended up being raped)
Once you babysit for people, ask them if they will be a reference for you. Get them to write reference letters and keep them in a folder. When people call you about a job and ask for references, you can show them the letters. Also, if the parents like you, ask them to tell their friends.
Word of mouth is the cheapest and best advertising.

If you are based in India, you can look for a job, only if you are 15 years old and above. wef 10 th October 2006, employing of children below 15 years of age has been banned.

I'm sorry, but I do not recommend people I don't know for babysitting children. I don't think many people do. You need to go through an agency of some kind.
