Nope the pine sol is not pure pine it has chemicals in it, read the label. Burining oil on a stove will make it too hot and it could combust. Buy candles or a misting fountain, you can put scented oil drops in there made especially for them, come in lots of scents and makes the house smell good.

Are you trying to make meth or what??

That is basicaly what you are going to do if you do that. You never ever cook a chemical.
If you are looking for something to really add a wonderfull smell to your house, get a couple green apples, a couple oranges, some clove, and even some cinnamon. Just slice up your apples and oranges and boil everything together for a while - your house will smell sooo good.

But it really is not safe to boil a chemical, you change the composistion of it, and it will not do what you think it will. It just doesn't work that way. Chemicals are not something to mess around with. Pine sol is a really bad thing to play around with. If you want that lemon smell, try boiling fresh lemon, but it won't give off the same scent.

I wouldn't take the chance.

Instead, fill a small sauce pot with water then add some orange peels, some cinnamon and some cloves. Set it to simmer, checking every so often to make sure the water level doesn't get too low.

In no time the house will smell wonderful!

Yes, you can boil eggs in a microwave. Wrap the egg in foil (Important) and place in a cup of water. The microwaves can't pass through the foil, so can't heat up the egg. The water will come to the boil and the heat will transfer to the egg and cook it. I did the same as Hugs many years ago. I put an egg in the micro for a half minute then put it in the egg cup. I hit it with a spoon and BANG! egg all over me and my kitchen. Once I learned to put it in foil, Great!

No, I think that would be harmful to your lungs. You never heat a volitial chemical unless you know what will happen. I have found that baking cinnamon rolls in your oven will put a lovely fragrance into your house. If you don't bake, just buy some pillsbury or some from the bakery and warm them up in your oven.

No way!! I put some vanilla extract, water and cinammon in the pot to make the house smell good. The family thinks I am baking and get upset when there aren't any cookies. It makes cooking smells go away pretty quickly.

NO! If you read the label; it is highly flameable. Keep matches and lighters, any open flame away from it. If you can read please read the labels on things to see the dos and don'ts. Get you a can of air freshener, some lysol, or oust and try that. If you like the lysol smell you can always mop your floors. Good luck and God bless you.

I'd say no. Not at all.

I'd also say that you should get some pine scented essential oil or something, something that's designed to be heated like that.

Or you could burn incense. Just don't heat cleaning chemicals. You could get more than smell, you could get really sincerely poisonous and potentially lethal chemicals.
