How to Remove Stains From Tile Grout
Steps:
1. Before cleaning, wipe away any excess wet buildup with a white terry-cloth towel or paper towels. If your grout is crumbling, consider replacing it. (See How to Replace Cracked Tile Grout in a Tub or Shower.)
2. While cleaning (steps 3 through 6), be sure to wear rubber or latex gloves and safety goggles, and throw open the windows to avoid exposure to the harsh chemical fumes of bleach-containing solutions.
3. Spray on a commercial grout cleaner or a heavy-duty all-purpose cleaning solution with bleach. Wait for several minutes.
4. Scrub the grout with a stiff scrub brush or a grout brush, then rinse thoroughly.
5. Blast mold, mildew or stubborn stains with a bleach-containing cleanser, or make your own using 1/4 cup (2 fl oz/60 ml) chlorine bleach and 1 qt. (32 fl oz/1 l) warm water. Let the disinfectant sit at least 10 minutes to thoroughly kill the mold and mildew.
6. Scrub the grout with a stiff brush or a grout brush, rinse, then dry with a white towel or paper towels.
7. Now that the grout's sparkling clean, keep it that way. Apply one to three coats of commercial grout sealer with a small brush or paintbrush. (Commercial grout cleaner, grout brushes and grout sealer are available at home supply centers and janitorial supply stores.)
8. Reapply annually to make certain the only thing scary in your home is the Halloween decor.
Overall Tips:
Regular cleanings with a bleach-based cleanser keep mold, mildew and stains in check.
Make sure you seal the grout after cleaning.
Overall Warnings:
Never mix bleach with an ammonia-based product such as glass cleaner.

If it's white grout use a small amount of bleach .. put it straight in spray bottle and spray the grout. Let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse ..grout will miraculously be white again. One caution, don't get the bleach on your clothes or carpet etc because you WILL damage them!
Another nice product I have seen recently that should work well is the "bleach pen"

can get a grout scraper but this takes time. Try to go over tiles with a fresh layer of grout. It is quicker and will look better. Remove any high bits of grout first. Epoxy grout is the best but a little complicated.
best of luck.

Go to Home Depot and get a Grout Tile Cleaning tool in the tile isle. You will need grout sealer after to ensure it is sealed and water will not penetrate.

Use a strong cleaner thats safe to use in the bathroom and then you can get tile grout re-whitener products such as a pen and a cream that you wipe over. You may need a mould and mildew remover however sometimes its too late and you have to re-grout

Bleach and a toothbrush. www.qvc.com also has grout paint that comes in a little pen the size of the grout that you can just paint over. Works wonders. I would definitely go with the grout paint if it is bad or the toothbrush and a little bleach should do the trick if its not in too bad of a condition. No fun :-) Good luck! :-)

Get a hard-bristle brush. Then apply a whitening toothpaste to the grout and leave it on for a few minutes. Use the brush to polish the grout, and then rinse with warm water. It sounds weird, but it works!

I actually heard a good little tip for this on a tv show a while back. Mix some lemon juice with some bicarb of soda and make a paste with it then rub with an old toothbrush and lo and behold, it should come clean. You can then wipe off the remainder with some tissue or an old rag or something. Good luck. :)

It's probably easier to re-grout, but you can buy a grout cleaner top spray on and then brush lightly, but its time consuming and hard work.
