i for some reason got mice in the house.i think its because of the cold weather outside.so i got some traps, you know the ones that will almost take your finger off.well i put peanut butter on them and they cleaned em right off without setting off the traps,GRRR!!i set them off to see if they were sensitive and they were.should i glue something to them, got any good ideas.i dont want to use de-con cause they will just die in the house and smell it up.there must be a way to fasten something to the trigger to make them set it off.

I'm remodeling our bathroom. We are going to attempt at tiling the entire shower, pan included. It was an existing shower, and since its in the basement, there is just sloped cement for the bottom of it. Can't I just directly tile to the shower floor?

I have a pecan tree that I, personally, planted in 1971 when this house belonged to my father. Last year I had a phenomenal harvest from this 50+ foot tree. This year we got NO pecans, and looking at the neighbors' trees they aren't faring any better. Is this a regional thing (Lubbock, Texas) or is this a nation-wide thing?

I'm ashamed that I got tired of gathering the amazing amount of pecans last year, because now I would be Praising the Father for even a small amount of that yield.

Hi,

I am buying a rhizome for a Heliconia Rostrata and Helicona Wagneriana to grow in my house. I heard that these suckers can grow up to 8-9 feet hight! My ceilings though are only about 8 feet high ( I think). Is there a way to control the growth so it only grows as high as I want it to?

The other day, I caught the guy next door brushing the snow off his car into my driveway. Our driveways are next to each other. I told him not to do that, but he totally ignored me. I shoveled my own driveway, then I left for work. When I came home it looked like not only did he just dump the snow from his cars in my yard, but also blew the snow there from his blower into where I had shoveled. If this wasn't bad enough, the apartment house across the street looked (if I can read tire tracks and scrape marks) like their snow removal service plowed the snow from their parking lot over onto my property. I'm a middle-aged woman alone and they know that. What can I do about these people without coming off at too bitchy?

I don't want that now, I wan't no baskets or anything ,but the problem is I have enough room for everything but, when I go about cleaning my rooit seems there is no room. Then soemtimes I will get out of the mood of cleaning my room and throw everything on my comp chair or the floor again.
