I think my well has collapsed so I want to drill another one. I am not sure how deep I need it to go. The one I have goes down about 100 ft if I am not mistaken. I live in west Tx. I just need a ball park figure to have a new well drilled. Include having someone do it for me with the cost of all new supplies. I also need to know what all i will need.

My well water pump runs constantly. The manual says it should kick off at 50 psi, it only gets to 48 (moves to 45 rather quickly, slow to 48). Water isn't an issue. Turned off all water to house, and still gets to 48, so I believe I can exclude leak somewhere in the house.

One place I called said it could be a bit of grit in the jet pump when I called. This seems like it could cost big bucks. Could I suggest for the service man to check anything else?

I'm looking for a plant to keep in my bedroom. Even though I like the smell of basil I don't think I'd like to smell it for hours in my bedroom. Will the plant smell stronger the larger it gets? Thanks in advance.

My bedroom is 8'-9" x 10'-8". I can't put my bed longways, without it being a VERY tight squeeze because my room isn't very wide, so the only way to put my bed is facing the closet (although I do not like the way that looks).

I'm trying to figure out how I could fit in a nightstand and dresser, and possibly even a chair without cramping up the room. I don't have measurements on the furniture yet.

Here is a floor plan of my room so you can get a feel for it. Any ideas of how to arrange my room are appreciated!!

why do the australians and americans just chuck all the laundry on cold water altogether?? cold water does not kill germs or combat stains or take smells out. you at least have to wash them in warm and if not then hot. also doesnt chucking everything in at once whites colours darks doesnt it stretch some fabrics and dye onto others. this really bugs me. clothes are not clean or taken care of.

do you do this and why? does it annoy you if you dont do it?

Hi.

I'm looking for a large 3 wick candle in gold colour but i can't find it.

I was thinking in buying a white or ivory colour and then colour it with gold.

Any suggestion what material can i use to colour the candles?

Thanks.

i would prefer they had the same water pressure and capabilities. what would this job entail? would it be easy for the builders to do it if we were having a new house built? would they probably charge me to do that? how much?

we live on the middle floor of a block of 3 flats, our floor is concrete unfortunatly the builders decided to put a wooden floor above us and the people upstairs. they have 2 young children that we can hear walking, running, jumping and doing all manner of other things from 6 in the morning to what ever time of the night their parents decide to put them to bed (usally 8-830) at night

this obviously has a big impact on our lives it wakes our children up earlier in the morning we have to listen to what can only be described as hammering all day long and everything vibrates

please help this is destroying our lives

I need to use an angle grinder to cut locks at a self storage facility (Don't worry, it's legal. I own the facility.). I have looked into cordless grinders but they are expensive, don't provide a whole lot of power and don't last very long.

I want to be able to put a car battery on wheels and plug the 7 amp angle grinder into it.

My first question: Is this possible?

Second question: How do I connect an outlet (or a power inverter) to the car battery?

Third question: How long will a car battery last doing this?

Fourth question: Can I recharge the battery in between uses?

Thanks for your help! Feel free to refer me to another website with the answer.

Hello all,

When I flush my toilet, it basically flushes three times because the flush valve doesn't close until all of the water empties from the tank. What is causing this, and how can I fix it? Is it acceptable to just lower the water-level really low, or should I do it a different way? Thanks!

I live in a Council property and every year they employ a company to do an annual boiler check and service. Anyway this year after they've been last week I've noticed a serious reduction in the temperature and volume of hot water, with the boiler on the same dial setting as it was before, which is the third highest so it can't be very energy efficient at the moment. I don't use the radiators. I obviously have to get someone back from the company to look at it but I wondered in the meantime if anyone knows what might have caused this, so I'll be a bit better informed when they come to look at it.

I need to replace the wire coming into my breaker panel inside the house, that goes to my detached garage. I have troubleshooted a blowing breaker problem and found even after unhooking the the main wire running into the subpanel in the garage I still have a breaker blowing. I replaced the breaker, checked all outlets. Double checked outside for possible external outlets, unhooked and capped off wires. Checked all outlets in the house to be sure non were connected to the garage circuit. So in short I need to know how to run a new wire through the same path as the old wiring.

I have 1 1/2 baths in my house. One wall between them. Full bath is in the hall. Master 1/2 bath is directly behind it with a wall between. Anyway, the toilet in the full bath overflowed when it was simply cleaned and then flushed tonight....nothing in it at all. I plunged it and it finally went down after some clear water came up through the bath-tub drain. After it went down it has been gargling ever since with the water level in the bowl at it's minimum. I tried the toilet in the 1/2 bath. It leaked around the seal at the floor where the toilet meets the floor.
What do I need to do tonight? Does a seal need replaced? Is my sewer backed up? I need a quick fix tonight. This is horrible and I have a baby in the house. Quickest true fix will receive points!!!
Thanks!!!
