NOT POLISH REMOVER -- because it will also remove the dye from the leather. And the smell will never go away.

Blot -- don't rub or wipe -- spots up with a plain white paper towel. Don't ever use a blue or red or purple or any other color napkin, because the color will run.

If it's still wet, try vegetable oil. If it's dry, Goo Gone or UnDu might work -- probably won't damage the chair, but you won't know until it's too late...unless maybe you can test a spot under the chair that's not visible.

You may have to chalk this up to a very unpleasant lesson learned.

AGH! not good at all. Use nail polish roover on the chair. Sorry but if that does not work the chair might be ruined. You could cover it up but she will find out. Just tell your mom the truth she will understand cause accideant happen. Good Luck!

Merry Christmas.

Cover it with something until you get an answer.

Sit on the chair when she's in the room. Maybe use a piece of clothing or something heavy so she won't be tempted to lift it.

I'd also give you the number to Child Services but I don't know it off by heart. LOL....Good luck.

(I heard vinegar gets nail polish out maybe)

Try nail polish remover (the kind with acetone).BUT, TEST it first on a spot that can't bee seen to be sure that it doesn't take the color out of the leather. Probably best, though, to wait for your mom and tell her what happened and let her decide how to fix it.

nonono...don't use ringer nail polish remover! it's possible that that could take the color out of the chair.

Goo Gone should do the trick.
