My house is very old, and is to humid, and in winter feel worst, is hard to keep warm what I can do?

if there is no underlayment on the ground under the floor just buy some thick black plastic and lay out in strips to completely cover the ground. if that doesn't help any then you may need to get some insulation added to the walls. if you don't have double pane windows you'll lose a lot of heat there and it will let lots of cold air in.

You ask an interesting question, but dont provide any clues as to why. My natural thought is that the age of house does not preclude humidity. Why is the house so humid? By the way, warm humid heat is more desirable for feeling and health than a warm dry heat, but as with anything, too much is bad. My first thought is to locate and correct the cause of the excess humidity. After that, see what the general condition of the house is. Do you have leaks around the doors and windows? How is the insulation in the roof area? Start at your basics and work up from there. Eliminate problems one at a time and you will slowly see improvement. I hope this helps.

instead of heating the whole house, try space heaters. May also try on using a dehumidifier.

not too old, minre was built in 1814, do you have a dirt floor basment ? if so thats where the humidity is comming from, i had to cement the floor on mine to stop it,

get a dehumidifier at walmart or something
