Clay pots with a hole in the bottom.
Both because the hole supplies drainage , and because the clay wicks away some of the moisture from the soil because it is porous unlike plastic pots.
One other thing,
Only plant this plant as deep in the ground as it was originally planted at the garden center you bought it from.
Often people plant their plants too deep and that contributes to stem and root rot.
