I would try baking soda. Wet the trays with water. Then sprinkle baking soda over them. Let it sit a few minutes and then scrub well. The baking soda is a mild abrasive and works well on removing oil and cooked on residue. Then rinse and dry.

I got a tip from the Kitchen Diva on tv and it worked great. Take a bowl with 1 quart of white vinegar and a second bowl with 2 quarts of water. Place them next to each other in the oven and heat the over to 200 degrees for 1 hour. Turn the oven off and let it sit, unopened, overnight. The next morning, you can wipe everything off using a damp sponge. I hope this helps you.

I clean my oven racks in the summer.. I spray them heavily with oven cleaner and put them in a heavy duty plastic garbage bag and leave outside overnight.. I spray them off with the hose and wash with soapy water.. This also works for the grill racks... I don't clean my racks in the winter..

You could spray them down with cleaner and heat up your oven for awhile THEN wipe them off with steel wool.....

Good luck

there is a product called easy-off oven cleaner. spray it on according to instructions then come back and wipe it off.

then you can help to keep them clean, by laying foil wrap on them for future cooking

Try grill cleaner for outdoor grills. That works really well.
