Our upstairs toilet has started producing noisy vibrations in the water lines when we flush it.This only happens on this toilet, all the other cold water supplies to taps etc are fine. This noisy vibration can be stopped if we turn on the bathroom cold tap.
Could it be that we need a new syphon in the cistern.?

A neighbor of mine complained about the sound coming from my apartment but I really need to make noise. I produce music a lot and when I do so I have a sub-woofer...not really that loud, on so I can listen to the bass and how it sounds with the musi. Anyhow, is there something home-made I can make and put on my wall to make the bass a little less "bassy"? A friend told me to cover my wall with thick bed sheeets....but idk. Any suggestions?

Hello there:

I just moved to a an apartment and it is completely white, so I'd like to some accent colors. I was thinking about a lime green (maybe a little bit darker) and an orange to the wall of the dining room. My worries are that my sofas are a very light green (almost turning to blue) and my dining furniture is a comtemporary style black and silver. Do you think the colors that i have in mind will match with my furniture????? Pls help me....The christmas party is gonna be here, in my apartment!!!!

My patio is covered but the outer rows of the tile get rain and some swimming pool water. These rows of tiles are deteriorating (flaking) and even turning to mud. When dry the surface is about a 1/4 inch down from rest of patio. Not sure if I can repair existing tiles with sealant or if they need to be replaced? If sealant is the answer, what prep do I need to do?

It opens only a few inches and then stops. The room light attached to the power unit flashes. I believe it has something to do adjustment of the two "set screws" on the unit but can't figure out how to adjust these correctly.

I have verified that the optical beam is correctly aligned.

I have a 14.4 volt post type charge PS180 to charge PS140 Type 3 batteries which doesn't seem to be working anymore, even with a new battery. Some sites on the internet say not to use the PS180 charger because of its problems, but to use instead a PS1MVC Multicharge 1 Hour charger as a replacement. The batteries for these Firestorm tools never held a charge for long, so the original charger could have been the problem. Did switching chargers solve the problem for you?

I built a bulkhead above my kitchen counters and installed recessed lighting that runs off of an on/off switch with a dimmer control. After the first light bulb burned out, the dimmer function stopped working. Now they will only turn on and off, but not dim. Is this because of the burned out light bulb or is something wrong with the switch?
