When does it stall? When going through heavy snow, or while idling? If it stalls while going through snow, you may be overloading the ability of the machine and bogging it down. If the problem happens when idling, you should check the air filter (clean if needed) and the choke and carburetor adjustments!

Make sure that you are using straight 30W oil in the crankcase, not 10w30. With 10W30 the engine will stall out due to lack of lubrication when warm!

Sounds like you have a carburetor/fuel problem. Most likely the carb needs to be taken apart and cleaned and put back together with a rebuild kit. Using 10-30 oil will not cause this problem, in fact it is recommened by briggs when the temp is below freezing. I would try some carb/injector cleaner in the gas first but usually the carb will need to be cleaned. Fuel stablizer works well for machines that are used very little as a preventitive.

On such a machine which gets used so little, I would suspect the carburetor is clogged with varnish from stale fuel. The two remedies would be to disassemble the carburetor, clean all the very small passages inside, put it all back together. Or replace the carburetor.
PS. A new spark plug is a good idea too!

You main jet is restricted with dross from the tank. Clean the main jet under the carb the big brass nut and fit an in-line fuel filter. Good to go XX
