They used to cut the flower stock and put it in a glass of water with blue ink, and in about 1 week the color will be blue.

I saw about ten different colored poinsettias in Wal mart today. You could tell by looking at the leaves that they had been sprayed with a thin paint or dye.
They were well done and quite pretty. Some even has sparkles added to them Denise

Cat is correct! I grow Poinsettias for a living this time of year!We have for colors of paint, Rose, violet, blue, yellow, burnt orange, turquoise. Glue, and sparkles in silver, gold, clear, and frost.
