I have nice counter tops, but one part is just wood. I have the top part that matches the other counters, it is thin and I could cut it with an esacto knife. Can I just glue it to the wood counter with wood glue? Is that sturdy enough for a cupboard?

My kids were painting Christmas ornaments and they used wax paper under the paint. Some white paint seeped thru the paper and on the table. Is there anything that will take it off without destroying the finish on the table?

Have been looking for kerosene for my outside heater and can't seem to find any. The 2 stores I know of in Maitland have the gas but can't sell it till the government inspects it, and its been about 2 months and it still hasn't been inspected. Typical *sigh* . So I am hoping to find another store near me that sells it. There has to one somewhere but I keep coming up empty handed even with all my detective work. Any suggestions from my neighbors would be appreciated!!!!!! Thanks!

We just had the old fuse box replaced with a new circuit breaker box. The electrician left the wires to an old 2nd story electric stove, but did not connect them, as at the time we didn't need that stove. Well my deadbeat brother wants to move in, so he'll need a stove (orig. 2nd floor was apt) and I thought I'd use the old stove (tiny kitchen, tiny apt.). However, I've no idea how to hook the wires to the box. There are three wires, all identical, all covered in what appears to be cloth. Also, do I need the larger 2 pole breaker installed, that is if I can even use the wiring here. It's in good shape, but it is old, Very thick copper in the wiring. How do you tell which wire is ground or neutral on this kind of thing. As you can tell, I'm a complete amateur at this. The old plug is still there, it's just not connected at the circuit breaker box now. Any help would be appreciated.

My 3 year old keeps locking the bathroom door and the builder only gave us one extra keys which is lost. They are the plain straight keys with a small flat end. There are no screws on the outside of the lock, so we always end up borrowing a neighbors key. If anyone knows what type of key this is, i.e. the name of it, please let me know so that I can get some extra. Thanks!
