Melt some sugar and add food dye to it, pour it into a rectangle shape and cool, then stick it in the window frame. That'll work until it rains.
Edit: Seriously, stained glass windows are usually made up of several pieces of stained glass adhered together. If it has only been cracked, then the part of it which has been damaged is the only part that should need repair instead of the entire window being replaced. So that shouldn't cost as much. Any glass repair business should be able to do the job for him.

Noooooo!. There is no such thing as a cheap stained glass window, and it is so close to Christmas.
What to do, what to do?
Ok, for now tell your mom, she is the adult and can figure out better ways. You really cant leave it broken because it will get cold in the house.
Next, she might be able to find someone to patch it temporarily. Grown ups have all theseother grown up friends to call.
Prepare a nice speech to give your dad when he gets home. Look as sorrowful as you can. Hope he is in a nice mood.
Good luck.

Another starting point is checking with Big Box stores for brand names-- then you'll have some idea about exactly what you are seeing on line, and you'll get other suggestions. There are several manufacturers. A wooden door probably will be a special order, tho. good luck

Any stained glass artist can repair it. If it's just one of the pieces of glass, they'll just replace that. If it's more, it's going to depend on how many are broken - vs - the cost of a new one. Look in the yellow pages under glass.

It depends if you want to get a new door or just replace the glass, if you want to replace the glass check a local stained glass shop, if it is not broken to much they may be able to fix it, I have also seen some on E-bay, and here is another site http://www.stainedglasswindows.com/

Being dishonest with your parents might buy you some time initially but it will be discovered sooner or later. You should admit the accident and deal with the consequences. Being responsible for your actions is part of growing up. Adults understand that mistakes will happen. Your dad may be upset initially but he'll be appreciative that you were honest with him. He will/should respect you for it. This may not be what you want to hear but it's the right thing to do.
